Benefit Cheekathon: Review

When I realised I had missed out on Too Faced's limited edition blush wardrobe, I was pretty upset... especially when I googled blush palettes and couldn't find anything similar that caught my eye. So you can imagine how happy I was when I came across the recently released Cheekathon Palette by Benefit earlier this month! The palette is limited edition and exclusive to House of Fraser, so there was no way I was missing out on this beauty and I was through the checkout before you could blink!

I was so excited when the parcel man came with it and opened it up straight away. I've always loved the super cute packaging and presentation of Benefit products, and the Cheekathon didn't disappoint... it is so pretty and smells amazing. Seriously guys, it smells good enough to eat. The palette has five full size blushes in; Dandelion, Hoola, Rockateur, Dallas and Coralista which are usually £23.50 each which makes the Cheekathon a steal at £44.50.

The blushes are all the same formula as the single ones, which is great considering past palettes like this have been made with poorer quality products. The palette also comes with the usual bristle brush of the single blushes, and a little booklet which gives you a guide on how to use the blushes - very cute!

As you can see from the swatches; Dandelion is a sheer baby pink powder which is perfect for a natural everyday flush; Hoola is pretty much a cult beauty product among makeup enthusiasts so this being included is really awesome to be honest, especially as I've just hit pan on my single; Rockateur is a beautiful rose gold blush with a subtle shimmer to it; Dallas is another bronzer which is a gorgeous dusty rose and Coralista is a nice, fresh coral toned (obviously Sam!) pink blush.

I'm honestly just so happy with this purchase. I was using the same two blushers over and over again so adding this to my collection has really helped me to start changing things up. If you don't have this you need it! Even if it is purely to collect because the packaging is just the cutest! It is still available right now at House of Fraser, but I dont imagine it will be for long so get yourself in there!

Much love,
