[The Lipstick Edit ] MUA Luxe velvet lip laquer review

I don't know about everyone else, but I love grabbing a bargain. It doesn't matter what it is, I love it... but when it is makeup then the bargain is just that little bit sweeter. So it shouldn't be surprising that when I came across the MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Laquers for only £3, I had to pick some up to try. Especially because this was a few months ago when I was going crazy for anything liquid lipstick related!

COHORTED: January Beauty Box Review

Subscription boxes are super popular these days, so it isn't massively surprising that there are plenty of beauty boxes for us bloggers to choose from! The only thing that has put me off is so many of these boxes, to me, seem to mostly be products that I won't really use and are usually sample sizes. After doing a whole load of googling though, I came across the Cohorted beauty box, a luxury beauty box with high end (usually full sized) products in and knew I had to give it a try!

New Year, New Blog Goals

Hello lovelies! I hope you have all had an amazing Christmas and New Year, I know I certainly did. It's been a little while since I posted, and I'd really wanted to get this post up on the 1st, but I was stuck writing an assignment and just didn't manage to get around to it. I'm ready to get back on the blogging bus though, because lets face it... I haven't blogged consistently since I went back to University really, so I figured what better way to get myself back into and motivated than by setting myself up some goals for the coming year!

#UrbanNCL: Urban Decay Blogger Event

Credit: Laura Pearman
So last week I was lucky enough to attend an Urban Decay event in Newcastle and I couldn't have been more thrilled. I am a die hard Urban Decay fan and have all the Naked palettes bar the original (I know, I don't know how I never bought that). This is my first makeup orientated event so I know you all know how exciting that is!

Amazon Brush Haul and Reviews

A few months ago I did a pretty big brush haul on Amazon to find out whether cheaper brushes were actually worth buying. I'd previously bought a set of four blending brushes before for £1.20 and was really impressed with them so figured why not try some others! I've made sure to actually use them for a good month and a half before writing this so I can be as accurate and honest as possible with my reviews.

Life Update: Why I've Been MIA

Hi lovelies, I've been pretty quiet here for the past month or so so thought it would be a good idea to give you all a bit of a life update before I get back to posting. I've seriously missed actively blogging and have to admit I'm a little miffed that I've struggled so much to post... especially when I have so many completed posts just sitting waiting!
